Rocket with a LOT of stages

The rules are simple:

Each reply is a new stage of a rocket and you must specify what that stage contains. Each stage must have its own engines and multiple engines from multiple stages cannot be active at the same time.

You must also state the status of the rocket at the end of the stage.

Let’s start: A simple liquid fuel stage. Sub-orbital trajectory.
