Abnormal Terrain - Minor Bug [Possible Terrain Issues on Ike]

Reported Version: v0.1.3.2 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTF 1650 GDDR5 @ 4BG (128 bits) | RAM15.8 GB

I don't have definite evidence that suggests that this is a bug, but there are two cases I have after doing a lot of exploring on Ike that I would judge as being unintentional:

1.  Terrace Terrain -  The terrain in some places becomes unnaturally step-like in certain areas. It is rather trivial but notable.

2. Unnatural Ridge - Very few sightings, but they exist. I am certain this must be a bug because the ridge is perfectly straight and not consistent with the rest of the terrain in the area.

I've only seen these on Ike, so if anyone has more information to contribute, let me know.

Anth12: Edit
DylanSP supplied Save File for his Screenshot below:
Ridge.json

My i9 9900K + 3070ti is having the same problem:

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Load Ridge.json
  2. Pause the instant the save is loaded because the rover is moving.

I would say the terrace is intentional. Ike is supposed to be an inactive volcanic moon and such terrain could be created by layers of lava cooling down, covered later by regolith.

No. Its related to integrated GPUs. When I have a moment I will be merging this with another bug report.

Odd. Though if I was a planet engineer, I would put such thing in there ;p

This is the bug report that it's most likely related to. I have seen the effect shown to me by @Suppise as well in different places.

@DylanSP Merged your bug report with this one. No one has complained about this unless they had Integrated graphics, though yours is less severe.
Are you running off the 1650 or the integrated graphics?

I don't know how laptops work when they say they have graphics built into the CPU as well as having a graphics card like nvidia.

Also do you have a save file at that location so I can test it?

@Anth12 I am running off of the 1650. I have a save file of a different location with the bug, but not the one in the image I sent. Nonetheless, I have it. Though, I don't know how to access it in files so I can give the save file, so I might need help with that.

So I am wrong about it being an integrated graphics issue. Maybe they are the same issue but because of the limited vram.

%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2\Saves\SinglePlayer
You can enter that into windows explorer and it will take you directly to the folder with all the campaigns.

@DylanSP Moved it back to its own bug report.
If its the same as how it looks on my computer and you think its wrong then its another bug.

If you can find an unnatural ridge at some point and do a save file for that it would be appreciated.

@The Aziz I was wrong.
