Also, I know this isn't your fault, but the reorganisation of files the new KSS2 Update has broken compatibility with a third-party extension mod for KSS2, called ParkersStarPack. It typically has it's systems in the _Systems Folder in KSS2, but since the new KSS2 update, loading it in the new update causes an infinite loading screen.
