I just copied the details for a similar sized object and it worked for me. I think evaPartPos is the relative location of the part on your kerbals back when they are in eva, the evaPartDir I believe is the direction its facing in the X, Y, Z axis'

Hey! Would you consider contributing your KAS settings for Kethane to my project? I'm trying to create a community-driven, KAS extensions mod to add KAS functions to other mods that do not yet have it.

Quick fix for Debug Loss of Kethane Menu.

I don't know if anyone else has posted this but If your running the Kethane mod in the Debug mod sometimes the toolbar becomes just a green bar that is unmovable. While this simple thing will fix it when it happens it will not remove the problem and it will come back. Just exit the game and go to the Kethane folder and open the settings.cfg. Change ShowOverlay = False to ShowOverlay = True. Save and restart the game and you will have your menu back. It may disappear later though. Make sure you exit the game before editing or it will revert back to False.

Hey guys, i have a question.As you deploy a keth scanner, do you have to actually fly it so it scans, or you can just go do other missions and then come back and it's all gonna be scanned? And also, can MechJeb somehow affect the scanning process?

what would be the MM to add mineing of other stuff to the kethane drills. tried all differnt ways but it wouldnt add other resources to mining on the drills and the scanners.

Simply identify the code within the drill config that is the extractor module, copy that. Put it in a modulemanager config and set it to add additional code to the config. Then paste the code you copied earlier and change the resource = Kethane to resource = <whatever you want>.

If it's just for you, you could also just edit it straight into the drill config.

An integration/crossover with ScanSat would be most helpful.

I would like to know more, please. I recently installed ScanSat, but is there any special directions for me to do, or i just simply put both scanners on one spacecraft, or what?

No, he doesn't mean integrating them on your craft would help. He means if the two modders got together and integrated their mods it would help us.

Though from what I recall the problem is not that Majir doesn't know how to do it, it's that he doesn't want to.

It's not that they need to be integrated at all but you are right he want you to waste your time scanning a planet.

EDIT other mods out there now for other Resources and more real 1's

that's bad. As i understand, random generated resourse location doesn't allow it to be revealed while non-ficused, like in SCANsat? and i saw a kethane map traq, that is the pre-required image for this mod?

is it the min and maxradius timesquantity that give u how much each deposit is? i changed mine to 1000-10000 and still was giving 200,000 ammount deposits.

Would think you need to shrink the MaxRadius you would have less spots but should have more in a spot. and would did you change to get that # ?

geh messing around with the values more my planet overlay for kethane stoped working lol. well thats what a test install is for anyway.

well what im looking for is the equation that kethane uses to calculate how much gonna be in a deposit.

to me so far looks like its radius x vertices x quanity= deposit ammount.

also noticed another thing i have moho set to 0 deposits yet it had 15 depsits with my last test.

ill mess around more later gonna take a break and try to teach myself some more on how to use blender.
