Exploration Mode Science Statistics

I've been collecting basic science statistics in Rocket Scientist level and found some interesting results. Eeloo and Dres are the two best locations to land and return from. You can land in different biomes to collect science which will be the same value. Eve is also equal to Eeloo in science value on land. Don't go to Eve's ocean, the science values are incredibly low/broken?

Duna's South Pole and North Pole are both called South Pole. Should be renamed to Poles like Laythe.

TLDR: Go to Eeloo, Dres and Eve for maximum returns though I haven't tested with science collecting parts yet.

Edit: I think this could go into the gameplay tutorials section maybe?

Also noticed this with the Ultimate Quarterpipe. I get that it's huge and very obvious to see from the place that you see it from but it's still a discoverable and that's got to count for something, right? Wrong! I only got 18 science from it. Still worth it with the 5000 science I did manage to return to Kerbin

Though, I feel like I've seen a bug report along those lines so it probably won't be too long before it's fixed :)

EDIT: wait hold on, did I miss a fix in the .2.1 update?

Nice, thats a good science haul. I tested after the patch so can confirm not resolved yet.

Working on potentially making a zero tech ship for eeloo and dres in one mission. If you land on all the biomes and return home it will net you over 34k science.

Just make sure to avoid making me rant on about all of your plans to destroy the universe (or, I think I switched to the multiverse?) again.

Thanks for collecting this! I really wish there was a summary per body in game that showed you available science (at least whether you've collected it or not).

Well, there is a mod for that, it's called Science Arkive. But I agree, should be available in the base game. Like an agency like NASA has no clue if their destination has any scientific significance or something.

Thanks! I'll have to check it out!

Note its an Eve launch window closing at the start of the game. If you are fast you can launch an Eve mission the first 14 days.
No its far from optimal, but 4.5 km/s it not that much with light payload and nuclear, Moho is always more expensive.
Atmospheric science is 600 transmitted, science jr is 1000 on surface, you can fly at 89 km for the atmospheric one, you want an heat shield and an docking port or rover seat for retrieving the science.
You can also drop the front to land on Eve while circulating the engine and seat/docking port part for the science who has to be returned.
Gilly is also very easy picking. Eve orbit and an discoverable on Gilly is also future missions you will unlock once you do the Duna monument.

Its also an Moho window who closes pretty fast.
