  1. Honestly one of the best posts I've seen since release. Fantastic job! I wonder how much of these features won't make it in the final game . I know that sometimes things don’t always turn out as expected once they’re implemented
  2. Oh yeah, it's going to be awesome! hahaha now to figure out how to create a banana to drop to slow you down
  3. Thank you. Wish I could have made it look more realistic looking
  4. Once we get multiplayer, we will start an interstellar interplanetary colony war...wanna join?
  5. Based on the real life F-15 fighter jet that successfully destroyed the Solwind P78-1 satellite. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the missile look like the real thing. Parts: 107 Press 1 to cycle engine mode. Use staging to decouple the ASAT Missile. https://kspbuilds.com/build/F-15A---Air-Launched-Anti-Satellite-ASAT
  6. Had the same issue occur. It seems to permanently delete the files. Might be worth setting up Windows Shadow Copy
  7. Wow that looks fantastic! Great work
  8. ++this, I don't recall it ever being mentioned. Really would like some asteroids and claws... If it wasn't mentioned I guess this will need to be moved to KSP2 Suggestions and Development Discussion.
  9. It was the second ever launch in Explorstion mode so it was lacking a few parts. Nuclear is great. I think you could do with just 2 probes for eve. One to the Olympus area and another for impact sites. They are very far apart however near Olympic you can unlock all the science. Just needs a good rover. Wait we can use struts for landing legs?
  10. Download the build here: https://kspbuilds.com/build/Huge-Rocket-for-Eve-and-Gilly---Genesis Parts: 946 Tons: 21k It has two rovers, one for Gilly and another for Eve. You could go to any planet if you wish, however you will need a return ship for Eve. Video below if you want to see how it looks/works.
  11. Haha always love your comments The rocket took 1 week. Literally worked on it every night. A lot of the time was spent testing the lander, rover, gilly rover etc. Started questioning my sanity 2 days in.
  12. First mission was to Dres. It gives the second highest science points in game and its not a difficult planet to visit. Earnt about 16k with a zero tek rocket. And yes, the rover was sandwiched originally tested with a spaceplane but it was too hard to get the rover low enough to the ground to decouple .
  13. 2nd ever launch in Exploration mode has earnt us 62,601 science... Went to Gilly, Eve and made sure to visit almost all research locations by driving over 40km.
  14. Great point, i guess for now we need to share screenshots of what we've unlocked
  15. We earnt 16k profit from one launch in Rocket Scientist difficulty using a ridiculous zero tech rocket that took us to Dres and back. Kerbal leg power was also essential for this great success.
  16. Got 16,943 science on my first zero tech mission. Built this big thing below, went to Dres, had the Kerbal walk over 50km to the different biomes and returned.
  17. Nice, thats a good science haul. I tested after the patch so can confirm not resolved yet. Working on potentially making a zero tech ship for eeloo and dres in one mission. If you land on all the biomes and return home it will net you over 34k science.
  18. I've been collecting basic science statistics in Rocket Scientist level and found some interesting results. Eeloo and Dres are the two best locations to land and return from. You can land in different biomes to collect science which will be the same value. Eve is also equal to Eeloo in science value on land. Don't go to Eve's ocean, the science values are incredibly low/broken? Duna's South Pole and North Pole are both called South Pole. Should be renamed to Poles like Laythe. TLDR: Go to Eeloo, Dres and Eve for maximum returns though I haven't tested with science collecting parts yet. 19. It can definitely get to orbit with no problem. Any suggestions for improvements? Might update it in the future depending on new parts.
  20. A huge space shuttle inspired ship. There are a lot of cargo bays to add whatever you want inside. It's capable of landing on the Mun if you're careful to conserve fuel/RCS along the way. This too many long nights to perfect. It consists of almost all RAPIER engines. Had to tweak the build a lot to reduce drag as previously i couldn't get over 10k altitude. Now it works flawlessly. Parts: 288 Engines: About 73...so prepare your computer to turn into an air fryer. Payload: Haven't tested this yet, but given that we can reach the Mun I'd say about 50 tons + would be fine. Let me know if you do test it. Download: https://kspbuilds.com/build/SSTO-Heavy-Cargo-Shuttle---Inquisitor
  21. Haha that would be like 7 or so craft files i wonder if anyone would be bothered to dock them all. Maybe I'll send them all as a challenge
  22. Build a 'rocket' that is powered by monopropellant. Points awarded to those that can land on the Mun and return back to Kerbin. Rules: No cheats. Monopropellant only. Have fun.
