I am using SSM. with the Mun's farther orbit, I assume it takes same delta v it would normally take to reach minmus to reach? Landing on the Mun would be the same delta v as stock?

It takes nearly as much, the Mun's SOI is larger so it technically takes a little less, and Mun's gravity was unchanged so it should be the same.

I decided to go through the configs, and I noticed that a few of the moons refer to a file directory in UrlumPlus. It's some kind of texture; maybe for an orbit icon? I'm not sure. Whatever it is, I removed the reference to that in those configs, and the game booted without incident. I haven't yet found any major bugs in the game with that line of code removed, but then again, I'm not even sure what it was for or how to check.

Whether that line is important to the function of the mod or not, that still means that JoolPlus is dependent on UrlumPlus to function in its current configuration. It looks like this is true in both CKAN and SpaceDock, and I can't seem to find any mention of that dependency anywhere. Is this intentional? Am I having some kind of installation error?

Urlum Plus isn't supposed to be a dependency, they're all supposed to be independent. The icons exist in Jool Plus and I created a pull request on its Github to use these instead.

I'm in one hundred percent agreement.  I don't think you could make me more interested in your efforts if you tried.  Once again, thank you so much!

When I first landed on Thatmo, I entered into a Retrograde orbit so that getting into orbit was easier.

Sounds cool (already installed it) but why do Tylo, Laythe, and Vall need shrinking? Could Jool have its mass increased instead?

And also the title screen replaced Kerbin with Sarnus for some reason, but Sarnus is my favorite planet (and likely most visited) in KSP. Is it intentional?

Is there also an option to revert the textures back to the default?

1. Tylo is over fifty times more massive than its counterpart, as is Laythe. Vall is less egregious, but all three of them are preposterously oversized for any realistic star system, which is why they always destabilize immediately in Principia. Making Jool larger to match would make it one of the larger known brown dwarfs.

2. Yep. MMB.cfg in SarnusPlus does so. If you want to change that, edit that file.

3. There is not.

My bad, I just read the FAQ.. I'm assuming some other kind soul is updating the CKAN meta data.

Cheers,

Whoever's doing that has my infinite gratitude, as I do not know how to do so.

For those of you who say the stock system is devoid of stuff, I think the OPM expansion adds too many planets, asteroids, moons, and dwarf planets.

Also, there is an error with the replacement Jool upon loading the entire thing.

You can turn off the pseudobodies if you so desire.

If you want the error to be fixed, you'll have to tell me what it is.

Its orbit is nearly identical to minmus, so I would assume that it requires the same deltaV as minmus, if not a little bit less due to its higher gravity. The size and mass remain unchanged.

Hey, all. I've spent the last few weeks troubleshooting a problem I've been having, and I think I might have found a pretty major oversight in the configs, so I'm wondering what y'all think.

In a pack I'm using, I have JoolPlus installed, but none of the other OPX components. Whenever I tried to boot the game in this configuration, it would crash and never load, despite the fact that as the documentation is set up right now, I can't seem to find anything that says it shouldn't work.

I decided to go through the configs, and I noticed that a few of the moons refer to a file directory in UrlumPlus. It's some kind of texture; maybe for an orbit icon? I'm not sure. That is odd, I'll have to fix that for the next release ASAP. In the meantime, you could probably edit that line to say JoolPlus instead of UrlumPlus, the file is the same. I finished one of my AP classes last week, so I may have time to return to full time development in the near future.

I noticed OPX SSM Github is down, is there a problem?

I changed its name to StockRevamp and privated it for development when I thought I'd have time to actually finish StockRevamp and have it supersede SSM. The Spacedock has all the same content as the releases on the github.

What does the Jool+ mean?? :0.0:

We added stuff to Jool. It's better now.

If TiltEm ever gets updated to 1.12.5, will UrlumPlus make use of it and tilt Urlum (and its moons) like how Uranus is actually tilted?

Some of the moons added by UrlumPlus orbit in the opposite direction of the default moons.

If it does, then sure, I'll get around to it. But I seriously doubt that it will, to be honest.

All of the moons except Lyxis orbit clockwise, in fact. Do everything backwards and have fun!

Err, supposed to orbit clockwise. For some reason, Wal and Tal orbit counterclockwise instead. Granted, I sent an N1-L3 complex there and landed the LK on it before installing this mod. The discarded lander also orbits counterclockwise but I don't remember if I orbited Wal clockwise or Counterclockwise when I flew it.

I just checked the files, and Wal definitely orbits the right way unless the entire file got broken by a cosmic ray burst sometime between the last successful update and now. 181º inclination.
