automcdonough
Very nice! I especially love the idea of using the long fuel tanks as connecting pieces, since they're longer than fuselage and you could refuel rovers and other craft with them, although it is unfortunately slightly unrealistic for your kerbals to move between habs through them.thx. there is a LOT of fuel sitting there now.. Using struts or mod parts might be a better idea. Considering the lag I will stick to more minimal bases from now on. It was a good concept tho. spacetortoise1
The third landing of the Expedition after Dres & Pol: Vall. This was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Hopefully they have enough lander fuel to return to the ship.
Tw1
Went and checked out the launch vehicle. While on a suborbital trajectory. "I wonder how it makes the fire""It's so spikey!" "Ouch"There's only one way to deal with debris.(Well, two, now we've got wack-a-kerbal.) Edited June 25, 2013 by Tw1

KAO
What pack are those solar panels from?it's from CardboardBoxProcessor's old Kosmos Space Station parts pack, you can use the search function to try to find it (the search function is useless, but try anyways)they're from ages ago and don't actually work, they're just aestheticmy first actual space station, as is seen here, was made eons ago when Kerbin was colored differently and I had to use a buggy mod for docking (three pieces in orbit, quite an achievement considering how prone they were to floating apart). Tw1
Is that with a filter, or a camera shot of a screen? Looks awesome, BTW. That lighting..
Tex_NL
It's clearly a camera shot. And the 'lighting' is probably camera flash.
spyker92
Decided to make a new standard booster system. 17 Mainsails firing at once doesn't seem like enough though... Maybe it should be, bigger?
Satire Jones
Wanted to share a particularly large long-term interplanetary craft. With over 790 parts and more to add and 292 tons the Tour Bus will *hopefully* tour the entire system on one fuel fill and plant a flag on every solid planet. Tw1
Normally, I don't like to post in this thread more than once per day but:I think I just confirmed the site for my next base. Also, look Ma, no hands! This one thinks he's Mario.Decided to replace the flagpole with kerbals. What could be happening here?Is it?A: someone told them you could get closer to space that way.B: one decided to try it, then most of KSC's crew decided to follow.C: We needed to spotlight the flag somehow, and went overboardD: None of them want to be available for whatever crazy thing is being tested over at the SPH.There's 28 there, if you're wondering. caba111
So, late last night, I realized my typical asparagus-style launcher couldn't list my newest payload. Logically, I built a new one. This is what I came up with. It's surprisingly stable, and controls like something half it's size, thanks to the canard "tail". It doesn't use seperatrons or RCS, and is controllable enough to be compatible with mechjeb. It's max payload is probably around 60 tons.At the launchpadRight after takeoffCircularizing. Note the tail tank with the canards.
