Finally assembled in orbit. 9 seperate launches (not including the Assembler), 387 Tons, 680 parts, 240 struts. Got about 6000 Delta at .4 TWR. A monster of a interplanetary ship "GO BIG OR STAY HOME" motto. Getting ready for it's first burn to Moho.

I present, the KSS DesTiny (jeb named it, he liked the pun)

Holy.. what mod(s) are those, gorgeous scenery and craft textures!

Looks like the ALCOR pod, KW Rocketry, and the Sum Dum Heavy Industries service module system. Not sure about the lower part of the lander though.

FINALLY managed to land a KSO intact, and with a method I can repeat too. Now I can get to work using it for crew transfers.

What, it's in one piece isn't it? Every time I aim for KSC the thing actually starts heading back to orbit at around 20km.

The lander fuel tank seems to be from AIES Aerospace.

Instabase! model A is now on its way to Laythe, accompanied by two more heavy tugs hauling fuel to support the crew already there.

Sharing the Jool window is the Tylo Express sample return mission. Won't be building another one of those, though; injection burn took 40 minutes. Ugh.
