SO i've finally installed the Kethane Mod and here is my refuelling depot orbiting mun:

Early stage building:

Kethane delivered to orbiter:

Now i just need something to refuel!

Right, this is shockingly ineffecient, i'm using all of my kethane to refuel my drilling machine, and have none left for the station. Any clues for an effecient drilling probe, lifting operation?

I say seperate Drill module, dedicated to, well, drilling, with a seperate lifter craft, plus Kethane tanks on the orbiter.

Edit: My thoughts are that seperating the drill and lifter will make the lifter burn less fuel returning to the Orbiter, meaning less Kethane used to refuel it.

Been busy since the update playing the game, waiting for some mods to show up and testing new builds.

Like every update I like to remake the SSTO Spaceplane "KCP-Sparrow I" that I made several updates ago.

This time I took the general design of the Sparrow redone some parts of the plane. And here is the "KPX-Kyoto II" (experimental).

I also been playing with the Kethane mod again and at the same time shooting probes to the rest of the Kerbal System.

Was playing around, making a lander that I could practice low level hops in:

It ended up that the girders/struts, make for great shock absorbers. These tolerated some pretty lousy landings, and even with extreme angles:

the most kerbal of air craft ever

shame it only lasted 1 more second before it self destructed and took my save with it

V2 definitely needs an extra engine

You didn't... how did that even get into the air?
