OrbitusII
Crash test successful:Max altitude (from ground): 495 metersSpeed at impact: 98.55 m/s (probably less due to drag)We won't be hitting Mun nearly that fast, so these guys are pretty safe. Oh, and that's the remnants of a rover underneath. There was also a battery and some KAS stuff. Not all that useful unless we need a spare tire, which we don't. Extemporary
Even the most minor docking feels awesome when you set up the perfect approach, and just watch them drift closer as the surface zooms by underneath.

I think it's like less than 300.
Tw1
De kas-ified things, preparing to update. Forgot to remove Kas things from the mantis shrimp rover. Camberry was left 5km away from the lander. He rolled down the hill to get there, and they all stood around looking very smug. Also:Still needs "training" wheels to work ATM.Edit: I seem to have made a mistake Edited October 5, 2013 by Tw1

It wouldn't feel right flying this thing without it.

OptimumAmoeba
Hi, I was in map view trying to tweek my trajectory for a landing at KSC, when I jumped back over to ship view I saw this.
SirJodelstein
^^^^ very cool picture and a very lucky crew ^^^^Too many engineers at the Academy, they got bored and built a swing chair from some spare parts
OptimumAmoeba
ThanksThis was my first interplanetary orbital construction Big Ship 1 (so imaginative!) for a trip to Laythe. It was not a complete success, the ship made it to Laythe but i forgot to disable the cross feed for the Snr docking port on the end of the orange tank so the poodle engine drained it.Success made it to the surface of Laythe for the first time. One slight problem that lander was designed for Duna, I don't think we are going home guys.Lets go for a drive. The rescue vessel Big Ship 2 The only pic I have but it all came good in the end. Thorbane
I was playing around with stretchy tanks and put probably over a hundred 1.25 meter engines on the bottom of one. It was going well until things exploded. Here's the aftermathAll those bits flying away are engines.

Whatshtisthis
I'm not gonna even try launching this legitimately, it's over 300 parts on it's own, and I ain't gotta risk my computer to build a launcher for it.
Thorbane
Holy Shift! How was the FPS?!Pretty crappy, even though it only had 450~ parts IIRC. Engines are a big strain on the physics engine compared to other parts.
