MacaCaver775
I am a long time KSP player but haven't picked up the game in a few years. I got the itch to play the game a few days ago and walked into the whole unable to download issue. Thankfully this has been fixed but I am running into a new issue. When I downloaded the game and DLCs and tried to install them the DLCs are throwing errors about them being the wrong version number. Either they say that the game is an older version and thus incompatible or they say that themselves are in fact the older version and so incompatible. The current error reads as follows, "You are running a version of KSP that its not compatible with the Breaking Ground Expansion, please go to the KSP Store and download the 1.12.0 or above. I am currently running 1.12.5 so I am very confused. Is this something that I can fix myself or do I have to wait on Private Division? MacaCaver775
Yes it is both dlc are having the issue. The game boots but and plays. I just can't get the dlc loaded and I can't load up my old saves because of that.
Anth
Oh. You mean that the installer for the DLCs are coming up with a dialog box about incompatibility. I recommend sending a query to private division support via https://support.privatedivision.com/hc/en-us/requests/new I will contact them as well. Go into the KSP folder and open the buildID64.txt file, and then change build id = 03190 and save (from 68 which is not correct) Then try to reinstall the DLCs. It should work. MacaCaver775
Well turns out it only partially worked. The making history expansion and the breaking ground both installed but when I went to load up the game later this morning I got this error. "The following expansions failed to load: Breaking Ground: Expansion version [1.7.0] Isn't a valid version that can be loaded! Minimum [1.7.1] Maximum [1.7.1]." Do you have any idea what this error might mean. Thank you again for all the help with this.

This is the name of the Making History install file: KSP-Making_History_Expansion-en-us-1.12.1.exe I only had access to KSP1 + Making History. What is the name of the Breaking Ground one? If its got 1.7.0 in it, then its the wrong version.
MacaCaver775
Then that means that Private division must have uploaded the wrong version. Great. Ill just have to wait for my ticket. Thank you for your help.
