Impossible

I decided to update my rocket that goes to escape velocity. As I was testing it to find how many fuel tanks I could lift, I realized my computer was going to crash before my rocket couldn't fly. I decided to stop even though I really could add a few more tanks before I would need boosters. It doesn't quite reach escape velocity, but it comes pretty close, it should be able to do just about any orbit you could want. However, it still leaves me wondering how this thing can even fly.

Edit: How could I forget the .craft file?

It has TWR > 1, winglets for aerodynamic stability, long stacks for same, SAS for fine control, and struts to counter splay and wobble. Why wouldn't it fly?

It's actually surprisingly fast, unfortunately it gets way to huge for my computer by the time it would be large enough to escape.

Yes, but when it's that slow on liftoff, that means that those extra stages just arent worth it.

Unless he just wants it Jebediah style, big, ineffecient, explosive.

It tower-clears in seven seconds, which isn't galloping guns fast (boosters!) but hardly worthy of scorn, either.

Not to be anti-jeb, but even adding boosters wouldn't do much... Lets say you put a set of decouplers and engines in the middle, to get ride of all that empty fuel. Increased effieciency, as long as it doesnt snap in half xD

Just a quick note, if anyone has a computer that can actually handle it, I think it can lift a few more tanks without adding any boosters.

There shouldn\'t be any mods, I\'m not sure why it wouldn\'t load.

if it didn\'t load at all, I\'d think it might be a difference in directories on your machine vs. mine vs. what directories the game is trying to pull from. However, I am getting struts and misc parts, so...not sure there...

Is the craft file saved in 0.10.1? All of those R8winglets might be failing if its from an older version.

It can definantly reach orbit, althoug a bit wastefull.

Max velocity was about 4.5 km/s (I\'m shure someone here can do better )

This craft seems unbelievably responsive. Probably all the wings.
