  1. It may be the same bug I'm experiencing. When my vessel is in close proximity to another vessel, and I timewarp, the orbit of the other vessel is messed up.
  2. I saw/heard someone complain about the fairings, so I performed a simple test. Setup 1: Vessel with stabilizer wings angled like a screw inside faring. Launched with small booster. Vessels spins even though the wings are covered by the faring, and should have no aerodynamic effect. Setup 2: Same as setup 1, but without angled wings. Vessel does not spin and reach around 530m/s before booster runs out. Setup 3: Same as setup 2, but with the fairing deconstructed. Fairing component remain on vessel, mass is the same. Vessel reach around 580m/s before booster runs out. Setup 4: Same as setup 2, but the fairing has been constructed to be as non-aerodynamic as possible.. giant pancake essentially. Mass of vessel remains the same. Vessel reach around 220m/s before booster runs out. In conclusion, the fairings I have tested are appear massless. They do not shield components from aerodynamic drag, while adding their own drag to the vessel. They currently have only a cosmetic function, and are a detriment if you try to build a practical vessel.
  3. After a trip to Dres, where the lander couldn't be recovered due to a bug, I decided to swing by Duna. The "LV-SW SWERV" is aperently a very powerful engine. https://imgur.com/a/ePvFcaD
  4. Trying to return from Dres. After taking off from Dres with my lander, I noticed that the orbital lines was missing.. https://imgur.com/a/TlSHi7A I managed to get into a stable orbit using the instrument readouts, but getting an encounter with my mothership without those lines is gonna be tricky. Opening up the tracking station, my vessel is marked as landed on Dres, so the game somehow didn't notice that my vessel is no longer on the surface of Dres, which is probably why it isn't rendering the orbital paths. And after trying to switch control back and forth between the mothership and the lander, velocity of the lander has been reset to 50m/s.. presumably because the game can't accept that a "landed" vessel is moving at orbital velocity, and is trying to compensate.
  5. So I tried going to Dres. https://imgur.com/a/ld2dy85 On a close approach. That black ring you can barely make out behind and below of my spacecraft? That's the rings of Dres. The planet itself is gone. Saving and Reloading made Dres reappear, but the rings are still black and somehow obscured by Dres. https://imgur.com/a/OLoOA27
  6. Sorry If this has already been reported. If you activate timewarp while your engines are burning, and then deactivate timewarp, the game still thinks timewarp is active when you try to throttle down, and prevent you from doing so.
  7. Seeing as this rather game-breaking bug has persisted for the last couple of patches, I've recovered my old account to report it. https://imgur.com/a/V2JcWA0 I was trying to rendezvous with another vessel in lko. The "default name - 8" part on a collision course with Kerbin was my booster stage. After decoupling from the booster, and setting up my encounter, I engaged time warp to speed up to my encounter. The booster stopped following the orbit where I had left it, and seemingly started traveling in a straight line until the distance between it and my vessel was above a certain distance, at which point the booster applied the current vector to it's new position, putting it on a collision course with kerbin. I've had this happen during most of my missions involving multiple vessels. Making apollo-style missions, and motherships for ferrying landers around basically impossible, as the vessels just don't stay in the orbits where I leave them.
  8. It appears to be working now. This time I tried installing ksp 1.4.3 from the installer, instead of using the .zip I usually download each version. I don't know if it is because of some difference between the installer and the .zip, but it appears to be working now.
  9. I'm trying to use the Making History installer from the KSP store to instal the expansion in KSP 1.4.3 After installing, a number of issues appear. Buttons that are supposed to close windows (like clicking accept in the settings menu, or clicking ok on the warning about timewarping above x2 in atmosphere) does not work. Music no longer plays in the main menu. The game becomes unstable and will sometimes crash (something I have never experienced with ksp before) The parts from the expansion are not present in the game. Loading a mission which is supposed to contain the new parts will cause an error message. I have heard others talk of using a .zip of the expansion, but I don't know where to download the .zip. The store only offers me to download an installer. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. Thanks for linking to the right MM file. It appears to be working now.
  11. I've redownloaded the .zip from the link provided just to be sure. I've tried to place the ModuleManager-master folder in the gamedata folder like with any other mod, but apart from ksp loading a little bit slower, nothing's changed.
  12. I can't find any documentation on how to install MM correctly, so I've probably done that wrong.
  13. I have a problem with getting the UI to work. When in the VAB, the R&D button appears as expected. When I press it a grey box appears, asking me to select a part. But selecting a part does nothing. Left clicking moves the part around like normal, and right clicking just opens the auxiliary menu. I there a specific way I have to select a part for improvement?
  14. I tried using the same design on a Laythe mission. It works fine:
  15. A rover I sent to Eve: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/43817-Eve-Rover-in-a-box-Mission
  16. oops, forgot the most important bit: Craft file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/68735837/Rover%20A.craft
  17. Gallery: While one the ground, I noticed the surface seems to "jitter" as if it has been textured twice... ...or maybe it's just me.
  18. Here is my Duna glide-lander: And album: http://imgur.com/a/1a8Z0 If the engine didn't break off at landing it could probably have flown home again.
