My proof of concept Space Centrifuge is in orbit and awaiting a... projectile Will update when there is progress. -
Colossus Space Station [0.16 STOCK]
Robo336 replied to Foursh's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Mother Of God! That has to be one of the most epic things i\'ve seen on KSP. -
The Icarus 3 craft is designed for a sundive. The craft consists of a long central stalk with a liquid booster stage for leaving the atmosphere Boosters jettisoned, leaving Kerbin. Passing by Mün: Detaching transfer-stage: Orbital velocity countered: We are now free-falling towards Kerbol: It is getting very bright, we must be nearing the surface: The ship dissapeared, we lost contact with the crew: Mission end report: If you wish to fly this craft, be carefull when detaching the first stage. If they are hit by the engine exhaust from the 'spike' engines, there is a risk of them colliding with the rest of the ship. All stock parts, enjoy.

I was originally trying to make something resembling the P-38 Lightning (http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-38_Lightning) with a twin tail rudder. But I ended up with a semi-cirular design useing a single engine.

After the recent discovery of aviation, RoboCorp has branched out into the construction of atmospheric vehicles. Once again attempting to bridge the gap between useful and utterly crazy, RoboCorp brings you: The Cutter: In the SPH: On the runway (With booster assisted launch): Can land (always a bonus): Various more or less impressive pictures: While the airspeed of The Cutter is relatively slow, it has incredible range and looks odd cool.

And I thought I was crazy... I guess real life will always find ways to outdoo my imagination.

I lol\'ed.

[0.14][stock][mun lander] Koalemos II
Robo336 replied to Kosmo-not's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Beautiful. -
Insanity has never been more sweet.
-
Found this monolith not far from the launch pad while trying to clean op after numerous failed aircrafts... ...Also check out my heli.

The best way to get better at something is to try it
-
Upgraded the design. More fuel is left in the injection-stage, allowing for more maneuverability and course corrections. On the pad: In orbit: All stock parts, as before.
-
http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=9618.0 Can leave the Kerbol system. Nuff said.

RoboCorp presents another craft in the attempt to bridge the gap between crazy and usefull: The Inter-Planetary Ship II (our cool-name generator has not been perfected yet) This ship is capable of reaching escape velocities relative to Kerbol and can thereby, with the right amount of navigational calculations, crashland on any object in the kerbol system. Theoretically, it is even capable of inter-stellar travel. And now, pictures: On the pad: Going up: In orbit: Reaching for the stars: All stock parts. Navigational computers not included. RoboCorp and it\'s affiliates takes no responsibility for nausia, cramps, seizures and death caused by an unlikely overdose of awesomeness.

RoboCorp presents a new vehicle for the world leaders of tomorrow: The Assault Rover: Landing: Landed: Firering: At the tip of a long range missile, the Assault Rover detatch and deploys it\'s radial parachute (by Capt. Slug) avoids air defences with RCS and lands safely at +20 m/s using the advanced suspension in its hstwcart (by Tosh http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=8431.0). It then fires it\'s dual railguns (by JellyCubes) to utterly destroy ground based targets. Fast, Flexible, Deadly. railguns may need tuneing, deployment missile not included, needed parts (exept cart) included in .zip, credit for 3rd party parts goes to the respective creators.

Now where have I seen that ship before... God uses my ships, I\'m honored.

[0.14] The Kessler Shotgun and the Supercollider
Robo336 replied to gabyalufix's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Do you really need an answer? -
RoboCorp presents a new Orbital Vehicle. The E-Class: In orbit and awaiting orders The Class E light cruiser is capable of SSTO as a bare chassis and can be outfitted with numerous weapon systems. Though if it is to carry heavy armament and still have fuel to maneuver, one of the following three is recomended: - Orbital construction. - Orbital refueling. - Heavy duty lifter. Features include RCS controlled escape pod. Adding boosters makes it munar capable: Boosters solve everything
-
That. (•_•) Is. ( •_•)>??-? Awesome. (??_?) Sunglasses for you.

In a constant effort to explore new rocket designs for the good of all Kerbalkind (well, those that survive anyway), RoboCorp presents a new experimental design to the public. The STCWL (Squashed Triangular Cube With Legs). On pad: Accending: Beating the odds: barely Features include waste of fuel, materials and time.

but the turboprop is only about 35.4% as crazy as what those nazis where trying to do... There is a large difference between putting your propellor on a gear in front of a jet intake... ...and strapping boosters to the tips of it.
-
Using jet engines... to turn a propeller? ...and I thought I was crazy
