VincentMcConnell
That can\'t be Kerbin rise... You\'re on a fixed point of the Mun and because it\'s tidally locked, you\'ll never see it rise up while on the surface....
PakledHostage
That can\'t be Kerbin rise... You\'re on a fixed point of the Mun and because it\'s tidally locked, you\'ll never see it rise up while on the surface....Thanks for clearing that up. Sorry for the poor choice of words. But did you know that even though our Moon is tidally locked with the Earth, there is a narrow band at the boundary of the 'Dark side' where the Earth does rise and set? It happens because, unlike the Mun in KSP, our Moon\'s orbit is elliptical. That\'s one of the many tidbits that I didn\'t know before I started playing KSP. VincentMcConnell
Lunar orbit. This is from 50KM up, so it\'s quite obvious how well the surface is textured from a distance. I\'m not too happy with the lunar surface, honestly. The rocks are cool, but the actually regolith itself has lost all the little zap pits and ridges and craters that it used to have. Aside from that, it looks really good.

The engine itself is truly awsome, but the old munar surface texture was better.
