flaillomanz
Here, have a few planes I created after discovering the rotate function, along with some older stuff.I hope dropbox plays nicely this time, last time I tried this none of the images worked.EDIT: fixed links.EDIT EDIT: removed faulty image
willitstimothy
The cliff I jumped off of was over 5.7km in altitude. It was so high, that the FDAI\'s velocity indicator assumed I was in orbit. That will happen on most of the higher hills and mountains on Minmus. maltesh
So, what can you do when you edit the jointSpring and jointDamping fields of Damned Robotics Rotatrons to 0.00001?

Kreuzung
Thats why you don\'t build large wings from nuclear material.
OrionAurora
Here\'s two pics of me landing/landed on Minmus.I still have plenty of fuel to return back to Kerbin.Edit: This was my first try.

OrionAurora
Interesting use of landing legs I have the normal landing legs (you can see them). I just folded them up because I lost 2 of the 6.
Feragorn
That lander seems slightly overpowered...Unless you used it as the boost stage for Trans-Minmus-Injection.
OrionAurora
I don\'t see how this rocket is overpowered.
Zephram Kerman
It\'s not overpowered, it\'s under-burdened.

OrionAurora
Under-burdened? Please explain.
semininja
It\'s one way of saying that it has the capability for a large payload, but one is currently lacking; in other words, over-powered for the current situation but capable of much more.
OrionAurora
So what you are saying is, the rocket I built could be used for much more than Munar landing?
semininja
The lander is capable of landing more than itself was the implication.
Feragorn
How much fuel do you have left when you land? If you don\'t expend all of it boosting back to a reentry on Kerbin than you can either cut out some fuel or add more payload to the rocket. chrislo27
When you edit the save file and then you forgot that two massive space stations are in the exact same position and you load the game.Result:Very kerbal if I do say so myself.
Hikaru
Thanks to a plugin still in development by r4m0n, I was able to take this video with a fixed viewpoint. I have wanted to do something like this forever!
Anachronda
Closest I\'ve come to a successful night landing on the Mun. When the smoke cleared, the capsule was sitting daintily on the surface of the Mun. The explosion of the command module must have exactly offset the landing speed. That parachute ain\'t gonna do them much good...
