This one, I was accident load wrong file as kerbal space program. I mean to load Mun. I just stare at it and thinking That one would make great as game loading. I'm not ask you to change it. But It's up to you use it or not. Because I would do with my game. If I could change picture load I would do that... If I knew how. My good friend walk in and saw this picture he says "wow they change load! they look better!" I told him "umm no... that's photoshop i made."

In all honesty, it's alright. The shading is slightly wrong which causes part of it to not look like a globe, and more like a rounded button. The actual quality of the Kerbin texture should really be enhanced as it will not look all that great at such a high res.

Now that I looked up again, the first 2 pictures you posted look better with the shadows.

All in all, pretty good job. I wouldn't use it though, because I could probably make a more detailed version and feel to be official it would need to be.

Deaf3279, I would like your permission to use your Kerbin picture as the basis for my in-game flag. I have an idea that's fitting to the space agency I'm using but I don't want to share my finished work without your approval. Thank you.

That's what the in-game starfield should look like.

Agreed, the in game starfield is really ugly at the moment, you can see the edges of the sky box, and it rather ruins the whole feel when you can see the seams on your universe.

Nice work, it's cool to see what photoshop can do sometimes.

I hadn't thought about it before, but I think once I start using the MapSat plugin, I may see what I can do to make a photo realistic Kerbin, Mun, Minmus, Duna....well all of them, in Blender3d, if I can ever take my self away from the game lol. Of course the actual texture might be a problem(except with the Mun and other single color bodies), since MapSat just gets makes an elevation map. Hmmm....maybe there's another plugin that does color? Although since the current texture is kinda rough it may not look so good. Guess we'll see what it looks like when 0.21 comes out. Of

That's what the in-game starfield should look like.

If you want it to be accurate, then yes that would be what it should look like but only at night near artificially lighten areas.

Go to the night side on Kerbin, or any other planet or moon, without light "pollution" and you would see it more or less like the starfield(with gasclouds an what not) that you see now in the game.

And if you were in direct sunlight all of the starfield should disappear, according to the reflectiveness some planet or moons should still be visible though.

Probably, seeing as the last post in this thread was about 9 months ago. Just to be on the safe side, why don't you credit the creators of the pics when you include them, though. :D
