NovaSilisko
Soo silisko edition isn\'t just rebalanced stock parts anymore? It hasn\'t been for a long time. It\'s 'rebalances stock parts, AND MORE!'Edit: I just realized, 500 replies. Sweet jesus.
rdfox
From my guesstimates, they\'re 39 cm high, so, you\'re pretty close. I pretty much just took the kerbonaut model, scaled it down until it matched the size ratio of human beings in the apollo capsule.That\'s about right; the Apollo command module had a base diameter of 3.9 meters, while the Mark 1 pod, otherwise pretty much identical in all proportions, has a base diameter of 1 meter, so... Sordid
How exactly does that work? Does it do the Apollo thing, where the upper part lifts off and leaves the descent stage behind?
NovaSilisko
The RCS thruster now serves as your mainstay 'single-stage-to-mun' object. The other RCS blocks are good for orbital translation and rotation, but no more. I\'m fine with that.
NovaSilisko
I still need to strike a balance on fuel efficiency for the RCS thruster...
Warringer
Nova, I just found a bug in your ASAS.You have declared the Ki value twice and missed the Kd value. Not that it stops my two stage 2 meter rocket from shaking appart at the decoupler between stage one and two... GWBBQ
Thanks for all the work on this. You did a great job balancing everything, it brings back the fun of when I was just getting started with the game and makes tasks like target orbits, mun landings, etc. achievable but not too easy. I love the flavor text for the parts, the first thing I did was go through and read all the part descriptions and they\'re very much in the spirit of Kerbal. At this point making new stock parts wold be a duplication of effort, they should just write you a check and use theseI have two suggestions: - Add the ActivatesEvenIfDisconnected = True parameter to payload fairings so they\'ll separate if they\'re in the same stage as the decoupler the base is attached to. - Make a slightly wider set of fairings that will fit a 1m stack with the small lander legs. Tim_Barrett
Say, by any chance will metal plating/square plates in various sizes be added?

zuff
Nice update, though I wouldn\'t have removed the nose tank as it still can serve a purpose where fairings aren\'t placeable (aka landing legs in the way) So if you could please consider re-adding that part that\'d be great. Also I don\'t know how long it\'s been like this, but you have a RCS tank (service module, model a) sitting in the Propulsion category while the other RCS tanks are in your Command category. icefire
So why don\'t struts/fuel lines work anymore? They aren\'t stopping parallel stages for wobbling all over the place
NovaSilisko
So why don\'t struts/fuel lines work anymore? They aren\'t stopping parallel stages for wobbling all over the placeThey\'re still working a lot different in 0.13. I need to figure out how to make them better here. Saaur
I can\'t get drop tanks to work. Looks like none of the liquid fuel tanks are enabled for side-mounting in this pack.

Aiyel
There\'s a decoupler that\'s a laateral with top and bottom vertical attach points. Use those. Or, edit the config to allow it. Both are valid options.
Sordid
Oh, that one. But that\'s a 1 meter decoupler. Building a shuttle with a 1 meter external fuel tank isn\'t really an option.

Sordid
I\'d much prefer if you\'d just make the tanks surface-attachable.
