Pico Space Program

Recommended Posts

Any chance a Pico LM for the Saturn V is in the cards? It worked pretty well for the N1, after all.

I don't think the rocket can lift it up if I build one.

Anything new on the pico front?

Yeah, I've been procrastinating a lot and I kept delaying the launch of the N1-L3. I'll upload it now.

2.38 tons. Could make it .5t lighter without the RCS tanks.

One practical problem is that it's a seat lander, and the seat is a little hard to find inside there. Getting out of it is really easy though -- it amusingly pops the Kerbal out right on top of the docking port.

I don't think you need the LV-909 (unless if it's just for the shroud). I would just use a 48-7S for simplicity's sake.

I don't think the LEM shouldn't be too fancy. My oversimplified pico LK only had to remotely resemble the real thing.

And here I thought I was being pretty small on mine, for Project Phoebus. Well, I guess I have capsules, and that's what I'll argue in my defense in front of a jury. Good job guys!

Rune. And RCS subsystems. What a wasteful person I am, I'm ashamed.
