Terrain on Eve's pole is quiet buggy...

Can you give us some coordinates? Where were you when you experienced the "bugginess"?

Well, they would be at 90º north and south at the poles.

Edit: Is this weird terrain what you mean?

Taken from the south pole:

If so, then the same would apply to most* of the planets and moons in the game.

Pretty much all the bodies without an ice caps on poles have this. It's normal, and the camera bugginess is too, for the game you are going from one side of the planet to the other.

Here you can see a rare Kerbal specimen, the danny2462 experiment with Ike's "pointy pole"

This same thing happens at Moho, except it is actually a cone 5 km deep. This is caused by the way the planets heightmaps are wrapped to a spherical object. On the Mun, tis can be seen with jagged seams going up to the north and south pole, and also causes the terrain to be far less forgiving that that of the equator. You'll want to be careful, as the properties of the terrain and the way KSP maps camera movement can be unstable.
