Planets and ScaledSpace.

Recommended Posts

I have more or less retired. But don't worry, I turned the code over to someone and he should post something about the project soon.

So long everyone!

Aahh! I hope this doesn't get abandoned, it looks really promising!

Greetings Kerbals! Allow me to whet your appetite with some random development screenshots from our fabulous Kragrathea factory floor. Set to some of your planets tribal music.

Did someone see where my jaw went? It fell on the floor a few minutes ago, didn't quite see where it rolled off to...

WOW does not even come close.

Those are actual planets? Not 'parts' like the various asteroids are? I know what I saw......but its just to awesome, so I have to ask.

If this is released as mod Id have to say it would be the most game changing mod there is....and thats saying something!!

I don't know where mine went, but I think I got yours, it doesn't fit right... Anyways, with the extra stars, do they emit light visibly on the planets (stock and mod) and for solar panels?

Sorry, I had to find my jaw. Where can I buy my own minisystem? Is release soon? With custom planets? Can mechjeb get to them?

Because that... IS AWESOME.

Apparently they do work with MechJeb -- I was freezing the vid at screens showing UI, and it shows MechJeb executing orbit and landing maneuvers on these bodies.

Incidentially, I counted 11 celestial bodies beyond the standard set. In order of appearance (of the name): Bogy, Joker, Beta Juice, Inferno, Heart of Gold, Trillian, Alpha Juice, WhySo, Serious, Aqua, and Krag. Did I miss any? Also, were Alpha & Beta Juice the names of the two stars?

Question:

How far away from Kerbol can other stars/planets be placed?

Thank you for your question. And not throwing your jaw at me.

As to how far out stars can be. Units are difficult between species. But in your terms its "As far as Texas is big". Or something. Thats what came out of the unit translator...

I am sorry... Have I reached the right system??... I expected a civilized client, not a species flinging jaw bones around. Have I dialed wrong? Oh dear....

Welcome to Earth! We usually do that when something FREAKING AWESOME comes along. Like this mod!

There's another one... Just try not to trip over all the jaws.

NOTICE:

If you have lost your jaw, contact the lost and found. Try not to lose any more limbs than is absolutely necessary.

Our Janitorial staff thank you in advance.

Ah! An observant Kerbal! You are correct, we have many prototypes on display. Alpha and Beta Juice are indeed graced to be stars (twins!). Serious is also a star. But far away, massive and lonely. Bit of a pain in the arse if you ask me....

There are two more probably not named in the video. Fred and Ginger. Delightful couple! They circle something we called a manilo.
