^^ from this week's news post. Methinks this be Multiplayer 'CLASSIFIED INFORMATION' Thoughts as to what this classified stuff is?

Considering Squad stated that multiplayer might be worked on after KSP has been formally been completed, I highly doubt it.

I'd put my money on either mining parts, or more planets.

Not true. You just have to think of it outside the box. I can see a competitive turn based game, either space races or some kind of fighting.

Okay let's not turn this into another multiplayer or not debate. They said if it comes it won't be before 1.0 and it's likely to be a DLC, so I highly doubt it's that.

As for planets, I remember them saying they don't want to add anything new for a while so I'm not convinced it would be that either.

You just need a mechanic where every player needs to aprove timewarp. Then its possible.

More restirictive is I think that you (the player) are the middle of the universe and everything is moving around you.

Security updates are not something you would usually announce in this particular way and nor would it be a secret, and if you where going to, I think it would be kept with it's own updates instead.

You CAN announce it--you can just place CLASSIFIED INFORMATION to let people know it's not for public consumption, but as a checklist item, it's fine to place it--It's that simple. I mean KSP servers is not exactly the Pentagon or Langley database/archives.
