Anyway to make radial fuel tanks fuel radial engines?

Without using fuel lines? I made a base with the MMM mod and I need to land it horizontally with radial engines and tanks but the tanks wont fuel the engines unless I run hoses on them even though the parts are all fuel crossfeed enabled. Big hoses on small radial parts looks very bad. Is there anyway to get this to work? Or should it work and I blew up my KSP somehow?

Nope, you really need fuel lines when going on radial tanks, looks weird but that's pretty much all you can do for now :l

OK thanks, I was hoping there was some other way I haven't figured out.
