My Jaw has just struck the floor :D That looks huge. You never fail to impress StarVision. Are you thinking about working on the starbase after voyager?

It is huge. it's roughly 4km wide. I wonder how KSP will handle it. I'm probably not going to work on this until after I do the shuttlecraft for the Enterprise, as that is basically the same thing but on a smaller scale.

Lazor Systems to the rescue! 99Km load and render range! I really want to play using the Voyager, and my GF would probably find it really cool too. She's a big Trek fan. Not so much myself, but when I was younger I used to watch Star Trek, and almost all of the ones that were on at the time had Captain Picard or Captain Janeway. (Oh, man. I can't even remember if I'm right, but Janeway was the captain of Voyager, right?) Voyager was always my favourite ship though. It just looked cooler, sleeker. (If I am remembering the right one, that is.)

Yes Captain Kathryn Janeway was Voyagers captain, I feel that Voyager was breaking a lot of stereotypes with the female captain, variable position warp nacelles, and a few other point i forgot >.< dang my adhd!

A question about the mod, will the core be ejectable? It would be great to be able to eject the warp core, to simulate a warp core emergency dump.

Or like, dock to it and steal it from Voyager and then have a chase scene with phasers from romfarers laz-

Hey, I'm not sure if it is a bug with the new update but I can't seem to steer the Enterprise at all. I've done clean installs and installed only the Enterprise mod into the GameData folder. If anyone has a fix for this please le me know! Thank you!

I have a theory. I too got the same problem. but I think I know why. Before the ARM update there were never any parts big enough for weight to change how things would collide, but now that there are stock parts upwards of 20m wide, Squad wanted to change that. When I EVAd in space and went straight into the Enterprise it barely moved. Here's a new config that just ups the SAS: Drag it into GameData/SciFi/Parts/Enterprise/enterprisescale and replace

Alright, some progress. I've got the ship mostly functioning in-game now. It can take off vertically fairly easily. I did actually model the landing gear but they didn't seem to work collide properly so I just decided to redo them after the main ship was functioning. I'll try and animate the nacelles next. I've also had a neat idea. If I modeled a transparent ray, I might be able to scale it so it would be hidden, and then have it extend when I activate it. I could then stick a Claw module on it and it would be like a tractor beam. This is just a concept though, so I'm not sure if it would work.
