So... all the old DR parts will work with MS?

Yes but you MUST wrap each of the old DR parts CFG files with PART { } otherwise they won't work. I can't do it for you and distribute them because that would violate the license of the model creator.

I have no problem with PART{} (I have a script to help out there from when 0.20 came out), but I didn't realized they could be used. Having just the docking rotors was a little limiting (now I can design better cranes). Thanks.

Great news. Devo & I are working on a more robust set of parts for the Infernal Robotics plugin. Hopefully have them ready shortly.

That is great news!

While the old DR part do work great with your IR plugin, they seem to lack the strength they used to. A bit after you released IR I tried to rebuild my heavyest crane, capable of lifting (and driving) with a 62ish ton load.....sadly it could only lift about 14tons with the IR plugin, and kinda shaky to do so. And I'm sure its an issue with the parts, not your plugin, as I can do ALOT with DockingWashers that cant be done with rototrons anymore.

Well thats 1 thing that does at least lol.. im in the middle of some serious updates... seems like breaking force and torque is nothing like it used to be..

I'll look into it and see what's going on. The MSI animator also works in .21 hurrah!

Have you guys already released the MSI Animator? If so I guess I missed it.

Not yet. I mentioned since its one less thing to have to redo while I tidy up the code.

it shouldnt be too far off, Sirkut still has not received all the pack from me, only about 1/3 of it, so im still working on it along side trying to get my other mods 0.21 compatible.

Ah cool, thanks. I'm currently away on holiday and don't get many chances to check the forums. I'm really looking forward to all the stuff you guys are working on and don't want to miss anything.

And even better, I have overcome the small bug that was hindering my part of the MSI animator pack, so it's working really well now we have some great new parts to share, im back at work tomorrow but I'll try and get as much done as I can tomorrow night.

I eagerly await this as well--I was a late adopter to DR (my first project was an unmanned soil sample vehicle/crane), and I really do need things like door hinges to be effective. It'll great to see what you come up with.

Nice Devo!!! I never knew you had such great legs..... :D

My one suggestion is that they might be a little too big, I like the 3rd pair especially, but it looks like you might have trouble sticking stuff (like solar panels etc) on the sides of your rocket with those. I do like that they are big, but I wonder if you could make them a little more narrow, or have the foot pads fold down into the rest of the gear; that would allow more room for extra stuff!

Thanks, there will be plenty of legs to choose from, some small, some big, some fat, some skinny.. Im trying to get at least 6-8 pairs out fot the pack.

What happened to the Mecha Legs? I want to make replicas of the Mecha Tengu from Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. And parts for making replicas of the King Oni mecha would also be nice.
