Newest KSP is 0.23.5, and It works with that version...

This is the second mention of that version number I've seen, but I don't see it on the KSP download site. Hmmm...

EDIT: I hadn't been using the Launcher.exe, so I wasn't getting the update, apparently.

oh i know why it isnt working, i forgot the plugindata thing

silly me!

I'm glad you got it working, but I'm not sure what you mean about plugindata. HyperEdit generates it's files automatically.

Just for clarity, to install HyperEdit, one only needs to unzip the download file into their KSP root folder, alongside KSP.exe.

I have a problem with the teleporter, when teleporting my ship to another (at the ocean),the other ship will either explode or tp itself underground and explode

 I'm sorry, but that's kinda "normal" for KSP, even without teleporting.

The only advice I can offer is to try changing ships, parts, locations and any other factors you can. I'd start with the ship and look for instability in the structure or parts clipping heavily on each other. I've learned that if you try different things, it can usually be worked around. For instance, don't have the brakes, RCS, or SAS on when you teleport, or do if you didn't. Try lots of combinations, and you might get lucky.

Since I took over from The Creator, we've provided more than 24,000 copies of HyperEdit for download. :0.0: These numbers are quite conservative, and only include the Space Port downloads from before I came on board. I'm also not counting any rouge sites. :sealed:

I'm glad to see that I haven't ruined things too much, and that our site is getting some traffic. It's nice to be useful.

I'd like to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone for all your support! I look forward to the future of KSP and HyperEdit with great antici... ... ...pation.

The altitude is in meters, so for a 71KM orbit around Kerbin you enter 71000. The ship lander is a lot more dodgy. I've yet to figure out the secret to using it on Eve. It always pops the ship in with quite a bit of horizontal velocity. On the Mun the default lander settings pop it in with apparently zero motion relative to the surface and one can just poke Land Somewhere in MechJeb and land right there.

What would be nice is if it could store a list of several user entered locations, altitudes, horizontal velocities relative to the surface etc.

Thank you for this very useful tool.

I have two hopefully small requests:

I use the "destroy a vessel" function a lot, and I would be very happy if the window could be persistent until I press a "close" button.

Would it be possible to have a filter like in the map view, sometimes I just want to see asteroids, sometimes only debris.

Thank you for your time.

EDIT: You're welcome, of course! I'm glad it's useful, but I didn't create it.

Having windows remember their state in each scene is on my list.

I'm not sure if filtering/removing objects from the map scene is possible, or even an appropriate feature for HyperEdit, but it's an interesting thought. I have no idea how that might be done.

I was using Hyperedit and saw that you intended to create a save feature for edited planetary orbits, but have not done so yet.

I have been programming in various languages for 5 years now, and I'm pretty sure there is an easy way you can do that, or that I could do for you.

1. Make a new button called "Save Commands". When this button is pressed, the user specifies a fileName, and the edits made after the button was clicked are put into a log. (specified name.txt)

2. Make a new button called "Load Commands". When this button is pressed, the user specifies a fileName, and those commands are executed.

3. Make it so there is always a file called automatic.txt, so when you load hyperedit, it automatically does those commands. If you would like an example, I can provide one in C++ (had to do this exact thing for a grade), or I could make the edits to a copy of the mod code if you would like.

I sent you an email on your Kerbaltek Aerospace Korporation website, but not sure if it went through.

Please get back to me :)

Thanks

Question I installed this as it said, dropped in in the Gamedata folder but pushing Alt + H doesn't do anything. Apologies if I'm missing something obvious what does it need something else to run?

Um, that's not what it says.

Try as I might this program will not launch. I followed the instructions C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\Kerbaltek so I'm confused as to what else needs to be done. Personally I don't want to use this program but I'm at my wits end as how to get my damn rover into space. :/
