is the pyramid complex gone?

i hv been there before 0.21

but when i was trying to get there to see if they changed anything in the 0.21 patch; i couldnt find it in the desert anymore.

can someone confirm if it's still there?

What's a good way of finding these. I was trying to find the one that's about 60km NE of KSC which is one i've been to before, and I couldn't find it for the life of me.

Short of cheats like ISA's Mapsat which has the coordinates pre-programmed how does one reasonably search for these things?

The second launch facility is still there, I think it's moved though as I'm sure it was more-north west of where it is in 0.21+

I saw some Mun arches so those are okay, I haven't checked how buried/floaty they are though.

KSC-2 is in the same position but the terrain around it has changed dramatically. The desert temple is definitely no longer visible. I had a rover next to it in 0.20 that survived the transition to 0.21. Although I don't recall seeing cacti in the desert before.

They apparently tweaked the terrain scatter on Kerbin back to how it once was. For a few versions the Kerbin terrain scatter was extremely sparse with tree clusters and cacti being ridiculously rare.

I saw cacti in the desert in 0.20...but only after reloading a mission in progress. Same thing with other scatters: if I had run continuously since starting the flight, there was practically no scatter; after I exited to Tracking Center, did other stuff, and came back, there was suddenly lots of scatter.

Maybe the 0.21 tweaks mostly corrected this problem, rather than turning up the frequency overall?

In the final builds of 0.21 I checked the Pyramid and it was still there, but there were some changes to the terrain after that, so it's not unlikely that it was accidentally buried.

The trouble is that checking all the Easter Eggs is pretty time-consuming to do and can only really be done late in Testing, when we have more high-priority things to be testing.

That's okay. I love the new terrain changes, especially with mountains being much more dangerous(RIP Scott Kerman). I have faith you guys will follow-up and fix the wonderful easter eggs. Right now we got awesome scenery on Kerbin, the Mun, and other places to explore to keep us occupied. I love the new area around the Armstrong monument.
