My own playlist of choice for the various KSP bodies has been posted plenty of times, but I'll post it again. It has the somewhat unique distinction of being comprised entirely of Incompetech (aka. Kevin MacLeod) tracks.

Also sprach Zarathrusta by Richard Strauss (2001:a space odyssey theme)

This sounds good when you are docking

Another one from me,

Kudos for liking Epica :)

For me 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky) goes well with all my firework rockets (AKA "failed" designs)

To be honest, I think space music in KSP would work perfectly only if it was dynamic, depending around which celestial body you're currently orbiting.

For instance, we should have a specific track for every planet and moon, which kicks in as soon as you enter the sphere of influence of the object. Orbiting around Jool would make the game play some majestical orchestral music, but approaching Tylo would change the soundtrack to something a little more tense, and so on and so forth.

Then of course, if you landed on Tylo the situation would be less frantic, the worst being over, and maybe a change of music might be needed at that point.

To truly do this well, I think each body would need music for a few themes, though some of these can probably be shared between similar bodies:

Arrival (entering its SOI)

Orbiting

Landing (suborbital trajectory, low altitude, descending) -- possibly a little tense to fit the "can't mess up the suicide burn" feeling if that's how you're landing.

Landed (possibly separate day and night themes)

Taking off (as per landing but ascending) -- less tense, more "Whee let's blast off into space" exciting

Also something for Kerbol orbits, which might also kick in if you're on an escape trajectory and are pretty close to the edge of SOI already.
