would be like a decoupler he real shuttles use to seperate from their orange tank. so that would be a radial decoupledr. right now want to build a rocket launched one but no way to connect it to a rocket

Since there are already stock radial decouplers, I assume you want something to clear the landing gear, or just something to match the style?

yeah it need to be long enough to give it good strenght yet off the side to give clearance. tried differnt ways to do with stock ones but with stock can only put 1 on and they are way to small. if u look at some of the other shuttle mods u see what i mean. i would use the ones from those mods but they custom made for that shuttle alone.

Use struts. Or if you don't like struts, use Quantum Struts on the booster rocket or external tank.

Also, great mod! I'm really enjoying how the wings slide together, it's a really nice touch.

I really do like the idea of adding decouplers as well as sas modules (neither of these are listed in the OP). I will get to these, but first I want to get the IVA complete. I'm going to take a break for a couple days and actually play the game. That will help me figure out what I want to create for the next release with the IVA.

The mod seems to have been abandoned, I'll try to write an MM file and test it in 0.23.

0.22 Tech tree integration

Done. All parts are in Advanced Aerodynamics, except for the cargo bays, which are in Heavy Aerodynamics.

Due to some technical difficulties, I couldn't test it, but I'm pretty sure* it works.*

* Pretty sure, as in "I'm pretty sure something's messed up, but I hope it's not too bad."

** It works, as in "It's got duct tape and a crowbar sticking out of it, but it works."

0. Get ModuleManager

1. Create a text file in GameData, change extension to .CFG

2. Copy the contents above into the file

Let's play 20 questions! Question one, does this have any plugins? No? Then great! Parts only mods weren't broken between 0.22 and 0.23. Question two, does the above fix add Techrequired and entrycost nodes if you save it as a config? Yes? Then Great! Tech tree integration ahoy! Question three: Are you organic? Yes? Fantastic! I haven't used this since 0.21 however the only issue I can see from what I remember of it is that the cargo holds won't be tweakable to open / close in the SPH / VAB. The above still holds true by the way for even really old parts (0.18 and prior). Some configuration editing may be required to add some new stuff that changed between versions but as a general rule parts packs don't break between versions. Plugins certainly will.

Does this work for .23? I really like this mod and would really like to play it! :)

Ive used it through .23.5

you DO need to have the firespitter DLL in.

And the b9 aerospace pack , and the .23.5 fix for it may be needed, not sure, i never play w/o b9.

I cannot get this to work in career mode, none of the parts show up in the tech tree. I have tried post 22 with no avail at all.

It works fine in sandbox, have I messed up installation or something??
