I see that you made it in a normal 2.5m size. In my opinion it doesn't really need a mod launcher (like the cBBp Dragon). It should be nice with stock parts with Procedural fairings. But if you really want to add the booster it should definiately be the planned Angara 5 or 7 scince those are the launch vehicles which actually will be used fo the PPTS. I know it's not easy to make though and I don't want to push it of course but it would be very original and a good idea.

You can make Angara with cbbps parts I think

Well, sort of. It's true that the Kosmos pack now has the long tanks with the engines but they are just 1.25m parts as far as I remember so they are like they could be booster stages for an Angara but the core stage still needs to be stock parts. But really Angara's booster stages has the same diameter as it's core stage.

Using Noyuz, I see. I'd rather use it with BobCat's Soyuz, TBH. Is that planned? You could edit textures of BobCat's Soyuz to brown-ish color you're using.

You should make test videos like BobCat, I want to see these in action!

Yes. I can do it.

So you mean that i can edit Bobcat's soyuz? But is this normal? It's mean that i will steal his model and config. This is not good.

Nope, you can edit the textures and write your own configs referencing his models. You won't be stealing anything, but the mod would depend on the Soviet Pack. You can do that now, with the MODEL calls. Here's how:

Instead of this:

mesh = model.mu

You put in something like this:

MODEL{
model=BobCatind/SovietPack/Parts/SoyuzU/Soyuz_U_Second_stage/model
texture = model000, SpaceFactory/Parts/Vostok/Vostok2ndStage
}

model000 is the name of the texture you want to replace, while Vostok2ndStage is the name of your texture, which you can make from scratch, only using BobCat's textures as an UV layout guide. You can have multiple texture = lines if you're replacing more than one texture (for example, you'll probably want to make your own normalmap, too).

Note, this will not only require Soviet Pack to be present, it will also require that it's installed properly, since if the file patch is any different from what your specify, the model won't load. Also, if BobCat remakes his Soyuz models at any point (rather unlikely, though), your textures might stop working, so you'd need to update them.

Also, make sure your version performs somewhat worse than BobCat's, since you're making on older rocket than Soyuz-U.

Hmmm. It's cool. I will try it. Thank you.

I'm running into an issue with the mod.. When I use the Vostok Rocket.. It won't release from the launch clamps, is stuck to the ground, and nothing is able to seperate, it just rubberbnands around.. I really wanna use it as I love the history behind it.

Are rocket engines touching the ground? Try to position it a little higher. Bobcat's Proton has such issue too.

It does not, I tried to convince him to write it into the command pod/docking port but he didn't seem to want to do it for some reason. Still looks fantastic though!

You can find parachute here. (ÿðрðшютýыù úþýтõùýõр)

I really don't understand how it works in real. I will do parachute like in Bobcat's soyuz descent.
