Kerbals ? What are they made of ??

Based on a description of a rather interesting part:

name = kethane_kerbalBlender

title = KE-WAITNONOSTOP-01 Kerbal Unreconstitutionator

description = In an effort to "go green", OKEP engineers devised a method to extract Kethane from a readily available and fully renewable resource. While low in mass, these (sometimes) brave Kerbonauts have a high energy density, yielding a not insignificant quantity of Kethane. Warranty void if used on Jebediah.

Kethane, I think. They are green after all, aren't they? (just joking, I have no idea what chemical components are they based on. Something completely different from us, as even the water on Kerbin is WAY more dense than H2O)

I'm fairly sure they are Karbon based life forms.

I think they have a high Gameplayium content too, which is a similar element to Narrativium (which is interestingly absent from the Kerbalverse so far).

Currently reading Science of Discworld IV. That made me chuckle. :D

Falls from thousands of meters, I don't think so. I just killed Bill from a fall at 2500m. He went "puff" onto the surface of Mün during a rescue mission to save him. His forward velocity may have had something to do with it as well.

I have dropped them off the top of the rocket they were once sitting it at the launch pad a hundred meters onto the ground without issues. I was worried the first time but turns out they're like bumbles. Because everyone knows bumbles bounce.
