Launch windows: AAAAGH!!!!

Why do all the launch windows open up in clusters?!?!? I had nearly simultaneous windows for Duna and Jool, and now I have them for Moho and Eeloo, with Eve hot behind them. Why do they have to crop up in clusters the first time????

It's like hmm, should I really go to Duna, Jool is almost there.

Also, it's very annoying when the Mun gets in the way of my burn...

Why not be happy and send off all missions at about the same time? There is enough space in space.

Kerbal Alarm Clock would be a big help here though.

It's the thing clever people who have a protractor on their desk (or use the mods) do to efficiently get to planets. People who can't build the monstrosities that you build Whackjob!

Protractors aren't tough. It's those slide rules that are the challenge. I almost learned to use one once, you know. I got distracted a few minutes in when I began to wonder how good an edge they can hold when sharpened.

I love kerbal alarm clock. Yesterday I had a convoy of 6 ships headed to Duna, the SOI alert is a lifesaver.

You just have to get lucky like me. I once sent a deep space probe with a mission for solar orbit and wound up with a jool encounter. That turned out being my first jool mission!

Yes, it has lite impact on cost of you send the mission the exact time or not.

Moho is pretty critical however here the issue is to burn accurate and arrive at the solar Pe. For places you can aerobrake its pretty irrelevant as long as you launch the correct day. Plane changes would be more important.

I normally use protractor mod to read phase angles for me, but I actuality used my good old protractor the other day.

Not for an interplanetary trip though, this was to help put a satellite in the correct angle relative to others.

I fly my ships with a plastic protractor and my spreadsheet. Guessing the angles and calculating the times down to milliseconds

Yeah, the Kerbal Alarm Clock is super useful. It's the only plug-in I use and now inevitable for me.

Another endorsement for Kerbal Alarm Clock here; it's the only plug-in I use. (I used to use Protractor in 0.21, too, but now lean on the KAC crutch to find launch windows.)
