Once you do probes/rovers to Mun, Minimus, Eve; is there any reason to return to these planets ?

Well, to save your stranded Kerbals of course.

And while you're at it, save the rescue mission too.

And the mission that was sent to retrieve the rescue mission.

Those you have to go back for too, of course.

go back with bigger and badder crafts. maybe the first time you simply got a little stationary lander down (like the phoenix mars lander). next you return with kerbals. then you bring a little buggy with you. before too long youre drag racing with mainsails over the hills of Duna

There are also a few (10-15) easter eggs on the Mun, Minmus, and Kerbin. They aren't terrain glitches, you'll know them when you see them. Some can be seen from low orbit, others require searching.

No reason to, but it does make excellent practice for returning manned missions. I'm currently working on a couple of probe returns just for this as my first manned mission to Duna was stranded because I didn't take into account the delta v of the insertion burns.

Download the kethane mod, and there are plenty of reasons to go back.

* To see art passes

* To do it bigger, better, more efficient, in a more challenging way, or just differently

* As part of a Grand Tour

* Just because

I send new missions to the Mun all the time. Sometimes I'll use the Mun and Minmus to "field test" equipment I plan on sending elsewhere later, just to get a feel for their handling. I've also got a small base and a rover or two down there at present. Sometimes I'll take the rover for a spin just to see what I can spot over the next ridgeline; even though I haven't found any proper anomalies, the new terrain still produces some interesting vistas.

Uh... because you want to? Same reason as there is to do anything else in this sandbox game?

The scenery - there is actually some interesting land features to find on the faces of the various planets. Try to land as close as you can to a target spot... then land there AGAIN (doing it a second time is very hard!)
