WhiteThane
I'd love to see data storage parts, imagine a couple of 5tb drives strapped to a research satellite. It would necessitate orbital relays for long term satellites. Strap a load of them together for your own Memory Alpha! I assume antennas have a range so storage stations along orbital relay systems would be awesome to design and set up, like a solar infrastructure. Anyway, think batteries, but for your precious science
Helix935
i know right but use this in conjunction with the ability to upgrade spacecraft/satellites
Specialist290
I think Harvester confirmed earlier that some sort of data storage for pods and probes is going to be in the next update as part of the research and development system.
dlrk
Yup, next update
Chi
In the next update you'll need to store data and transmit it back to the space center. If there's going to be a limit about how much data you can store... well, I don't know, but if that happens, I think that data should be stored in "Kerbibits" (Just like in the SI system you have kibibits, tebibits...) softweir
Since it is pretty certain this will appear in the next update, I think we can let this suggestion fall to the bottom.
