I really like my Kestrel. Make a spaceplane that is armed that can land on Mun, and return to Kerbin. Unlike the Kestrel, it should land mostly intact.

Massive bump, so I\'m assuming you are talking about this tieing into the RP Forseti thread.

Anyway, I\'ll answer it here.

VTOL\'s are nice, but it is very expensive weight and fuel wise trying to over for long periods of time, especially since we are known to commonly use a shitload of explosives on every end of our crafts. Possibly a future small strike plane of sorts, but I\'m seeing it more and more than VTOL landing is become less of an issue.

I have to find them on my old harddrive, but I highly doubt they will be compatible with all of the new C7 stock parts and KSP version.

I am planning on remaking everything here though, although with the new spaceplane hangar these designs aren\'t that special anymore. ;D

using those makes my game explode and they dont balance well with anything else i have

Wasn\'t expecting this F2I thread, this is the old one.

And no I don\'t think so. The design was just good back then because the VAB and mirror symmetry was non-existent. It couldn\'t land normally either.

Also, if you are looking for the new thread, it\'s here. It only has history at the moment, but almost all of the newer ships are documented.

P.S. Gen3 planes are coming along nicely! These jets will wipe everything else out of the sky.

I never really try to build rockets because they are all the same, unlike aircraft, which can be unique every time. I can\'t wait to release my new line of craft in that matter!

Oh and a different type of a rocket won\'t look like a rocket. So yeah.
