Your goal is to assemble a OLBM (Orbitally Launched Ballistic Missile) system. You need to create an orbital array with projectiles that de-orbit themselves to hit a set target. You need to have 5 or more missiles stationed in Orbit and hit KSC 2 with them.

Well, can you manually hit a building at KSC2 from orbit? MJ will get you to a couple hundreds of meters from the buildings at KSC, which is at the equator.

Even with software assistance, it'll be hard as F to hit KSC2 from orbit.

Mission description is way to vague to provide a decent forum challenge.

- Are the missiles controlled? if so it would be the same as a regular ksc landing, but x5.

- If not, hitting the KSC2 on the spot would be impossible (except maybe a very very incidental stroke of luck), so it would be a distance challenge.

- And then: does total distance from the ksc2 count, or the closest missile?

What are technical requirements? Do you require one hit, multiple hits, firing missiles one by one or all at once? Can the missile be steered during flight?

You must follow the missile in any case or the game will "disappear" it when it gets below 23 km height.

I don't see particular problem with hitting anything not on equator - all you need is inclined orbit. Using polar orbit you can technically reach any place on the planet. And with hitting KSC2 - I guess you need either steering capability or enough retries.

I think missiles probably aren't allowed to intentionally decelerate to slower than terminal velocity, as this would make them relatively easy targets, probably easier than planes.

For that matter, it would also reduce penetrating power.
