How we develop rockets

You shouldn't be adding so many struts that it affects rocket performance. You only need to add a few in the right places.

Most correct. Carefully placed struts make a huge difference between a large rocket that flies near perfect with no additional SAS units, or one that spins and wobbles all over the place;

Struts and fuel lines have mass in their .cfg files, but the game ignores it. You can add as many as you want and it won't change your deltaV or TWR.

The regular struts aren't immune to physics, but the cubic octagonal struts are. You can load up a craft with 500 of these and it won't make KSP go any slower. I believe the line in the .cfg file is "PhysicsSignificance = 1", to turn off physics.

is everyone so stupid that they cant recognize a joke even when it slaps then in their face?
So basically you make a joke, some people don't laugh and think you are being serious take time to offer constructive feedback and then you insult them?

Before we go any further, you could have worded your statement thusly:

"Guys, guys! It was just a joke XD. Thanks for all the comments though :P"

I don't care if you are 15 or 51 that was ALL in poor taste and you should be ashamed.

As far as jokes go, it was rather poor. If anything it's a good description of someone rather new to the game so the assumption that you were serious was made.

Oh, and if you're going to call people stupid, perhaps check your spelling and grammar.

Alright you stupids, back to strutting your rockets!

Heres an old screenie of one of my favourite strutjobs.

Just have to peel the one side off, symmetry it up, add some perimeter struts, good to go.

The thing is with jokes is that they tend to be funny.

Without the awkward pause and the embarrassed look on your face followed by the forced nervous laughter, that I'm sure you are well used to, it can be hard for people on the internet to know when someone is being sarcastic or attempting humour.
