Is someone else waiting for career mode be completed before getting in?

I decided to wait for career mode to be completed (probably in the official launch) with all features up and running before trying it, for the following reasons:

first: I don't want to spoil the fun, probably will be a save breaking patches on the future

second: even if there is no save breaking, I want to do feel like I'm really starting the career for the first time.

Someone else decided to do the same?

Me too, might try if it gets modded heavily but otherwise no ty. At this stage its just a good tutorial for new players.

it's indeed quite fun now already that it forces to back into guessing whether your ship is going to space just like how you once started playing.( u dont hv engineer redux or mechjeb in career mode)

getting into orbit and landing on the moons are easy enough to do without thos info readouts, but anything further than that is pretty hard, and fun

Oh, I don't know. I'm forgoing MechJeb and any mods right now in career mode. I can also but my rocket back on the KSC. Just missed the island runway this last time.

I've still got a lot of things I'm wanting to do (or am already in the process of doing) in sandbox mode. I did test out the science equipment in space (in sandbox) and had a look around in Career mode. Once I finish up my sandbox projects, I'll probably start in on Career. Some of my old projects are slow to yield results, but I'm determined to get them done first. Everyone has their own priorities with the game, which is cool because now we all have more choices.

For someone who is just starting KSP, it might be fun for them to actually start in Career mode.

Yeah, not enthusiastic about career mode at the moment, I'm afraid. Never was.

I'd like it to be a bit more fleshed out before I start getting involved with it.

I'm quite enjoying fiddling with the ScienceDefs.cfg and using Yargnit's modified tech tree, but then, I knew I wasn't going to be playing with the stock values as soon as I watched Manley's interview of Felipe. It's also pretty awesome to see a fan-made tech tree appear on release day.

I'll just have fun with the science now, and when the game finally releases, THAT will be my "first" save. Anything before that is just practice and doesn't count .
