Can we expect to be getting patches with biomes and experiment flavor text?

Basically what it says on the title. It seems very possible for Squad to complete a few flavor texts or planet biomes occasionally between updates and release them as a quick patch for us, however, I would be completely fine if they only released them during full updates.

Seems unlikely they'd emit a patch just for that. It is expensive to put out a release; best to bundle some important changes in with it.

They were talking about changes and fixes to the new tech-tree in a patch in ksp weekly. Maybe we'll get a few new biomes there?

I'd imagine any changes they'd do with a patch would work on balancing the science points given out for certain experiments.

It does seem that there is a lot place holder text for some of the experiments, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some additional content with 0.23, but i'd be surprised to see it before then.

If they release a patch to fix a bug or something, sure I could see more flavor text or even biomes for Minmus and Duna or something like that. If they have them, they'll probably put them in. It's a low-risk thing because the biome code is already proven to work on Kerbin and Mun.

However I don't see them releasing a biome- or flavor-text-specific update. They're working on 0.23 and that's what they should be working on.

Perhaps no biomes on: Jool, Tylo, Gilly, Bop, Dres, Ike, Eeloo, and Pol.

A PATCH in software engineering is an emergency update to fix critical problems, not a minor intermediate release to add new functionality (though sometimes new functionality is included in one if it has very limited impact, and is ready to ship anyway).

So no, a patch just to add more biomes won't happen as it wouldn't be a patch.
