Awesome! Have you considered becoming part of the Community Science Project? Cabana Corp's own "Expanded Probe Capabilities" would benefit a lot from this experiment!

Also, maybe add some different flavour text to represent that it's on a probe and there are no Kerbals around to.. um... lick the samples...

No part could do this before, so I did not bother to look into part.cfg files.

Its a experiment ID you can assign for the ScienceExperiment module. I was planning to do this but i got beat to it. Oh Well.

Yes, but being a coding noob I would not know where to find it - I never stumbled across the part.cfg for a Kerbal.

It doesn't matter. Experiment IDs are in the ScienceDef.cfg. Which means you can add any experiment to any part using the Experiment Module...

Excellent work, r4m0n! I've been trying to turn a KAS part on a winch into a soil collector (specifically, the radial port), but for some reason, as soon as I lower the winch, it loses all ability to collect soil samples (either through action groups or right clicking).

I may have to use this instead. I've tried modifying the CFG of the KAS part, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
