Problem with liquid Engines

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, i've just got Kerbal Space Programm and have a question.

How can i get a liquid Engine to work? I've connected the fuel tanks to the engine but when i try to launch the rocket

there does no fuel flow into the engine and my rocket does not launch.

Am i just to stupid for it or is there a bug or something?

If you put the engine right below the tank, it should draw the fuel from the tank. The only thing you need to do is to throttle up (shift) and activate the engine by staging (space). Doing so is part of the Flight Basics in-game training mission, you should try them if you didn't yet.

This is an ancient thread, three years old.  The original posters have presumably long since moved on with life.  Also, in general, be aware that responding to ancient threads can also be misleading, because in many cases, KSP has changed so much in the meantime that the original issue has become moot (though it happens to still apply in this particular case).

Locking the thread to prevent any further confusion.  If someone has a similar issue and needs help with it, feel free to spin up a new thread.
