I'm an aerospace engineer for the US Army, and I've also taken quite a number of graduate level courses in topics such as spacecraft attitude control, advanced solid rocket motor design, astrodynamics, and various other topics appropriate to the game. Obviously this game doesn't come close to designing a real spacecraft/launch vehicle, but it is still a hell of a lot of fun.
