To Queril:

Wel, i can't connect anymore KMP GUI disappears and stuck on syncing

I'm sorry to hear that.

Though server's capped atp, 8/8, might be that.

also, if it's not too hard, when server software updates, pls notify me :) (anyone)

Now now, keep in mind that KMP would not have been possible without the groundwork laid by KLF, not to mention I'm sure there's plenty of people who would still prefer the passive-multiplayer option--no griefing!

I'm not taking donations at this time, please consider donating to your favorite pro-science/education charity instead.

Now this here is a model Human Being (or kerbal being)

So I have been trying to run this server for a while but I get stuck with this error.

I am running the server as an admin and have tried changing the Ports (http) to random 4 digit numbers. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, so... could you tell me exactly what you did?

I'm not sure what could be causing your problem... I installed KMP based exactly on what the readme said. Have you tried connecting to different servers? If the problem keeps happening, add an issue to KMP's git. It should be in the OP.

My Server:

SOA Space Program

dataschmuck.asuscomm.com

port 2076

Max Players: 4

Location: Northwest United States

Players are set to 4 because every server I've joined, the UDP and connection issues always start after 5 or 6 players have joined.

Server is running on a 4.6 Ghz corei7 2600K, 8G Ram, Crucial M4 SSD, Win7 64bit, Comcast 50down/10up

Hmm... Must be an issue with joining local Windows-based servers. Did you put this on the git?

I have a server for fun up. It is just meant for messing with the game, not meant for actually doing science...Let's face it, doing science takes a while, but I'd like to have a career mode implemented in this. Server options anybody? If I am able to set it into career, please explain to me! I'd like to play career with my brother and friends on KSP on my server.

My Server:

IP: 174.69.34.49 Port: 55905

Max Players: 4

Other Notes: Don't grief, or you'll pay the time off of my server! I just want a friendly group to play with me!

Unfortunately I don't think Gimp has implemented career mode yet.

One question though - what happens if you go on a suborbital lasting say 10 minutes and sync 20 minutes into the future, what happens?

Big boom, ship go bye bye.

:D but really the game simulates where a craft would be relative to the time you warped forward I.E. your ship would have been destroyed 10 minutes ago

I believe it warps into the future the "on rail warp" style so it uses the current orbital elements to predict the ship position at time T. So if your ship is on a suborbital trajectory then it will most likely to be under ground, which make explosions!
