TMS
Working on eve now for the pack, I'm going for a darkish depressing look on it. What do you guys think? Too dark?I like it. Looks intimidating, foreboding... the way a Venus analogue should be.

Too dark?Nah it looks super mysterious and intriguing, I like having one dark, spooky planet, makes more use for lights and the thick atmosphere will add to its mystery thanks what I think anyway
pingopete
http://imgur.com/a/HTPFETesting out fake shading for my pack, looks surprisingly good. How does it work? Are the textures actually darker in colour on the underside? Or is it doing this relative to the suns direction?
Astronomer
keep eve as scary as before.I'll see what can be done >:].Also I tried using 3 textures, looking good but more edges to fix. Poor guy. Edited April 13, 2014 by Astronomer

I won't tell my secret yet, but I'll tell you, I'm surprised nobody else thought of this. Here's what I got so far - Javascript is disabled. Question, though: is the first image with different settings? Somehow the clouds look... patchier. More like overlapping polygons than a single mass. Or is it just me? vanlock
Ok so now I'm asking that Astronomer and Sonic combine their efforts and release something together ! You both are doing amazing work on top of rbray's essential creation.
pingopete
While you're adding layers you should throw in some hight variance for the clouds, build some 'real' 3D clouds to fly around. I'm thinking cumulonimbus.. or was rbray working on something like this for next release? Edited April 13, 2014 by pingopete

Thesonicgalaxy
Okay, now I can't save to Kerbin at all. It's saving it in the config, but it won't load it. It won't load any more layers.UPDATE: Okay, I really can't deal with this anymore. I might just stop all development of my pack until you fix your saving system. It's way too buggy. I mean, i can't even bloody save anymore. This is a major bug.UPDATE 2: Okay, apparently there were layers that wouldn't let me save on kerbin. Okay... Commander Jebidiah
At least side-wind landing will be more challenging... turbulence will be even better, though it will need a complex atmosphere model i guess...I could do without turbulence my planes jiggle themselves apart without any
KyleofKerbin
Aside from all the joy and hype going on with these cloud packs(btw Sonic those clouds are SO GOOD! all you need is weather. ), I'm having some pretty big issues getting even the rbray's clouds to work(the DEFAULT ones). I've put the BoulderCo folder (I'm using Advanced Textures btw) into GameData, launched the game, and the clouds don't show AT ALL. So, I put the folder EnvironmentalEnhancements(or whatever it's called) into the Plugins folder, launched the game, and NOTHING shows AGAIN. What is going on?! KyleofKerbin
Oh! Makes sense. :3 Also, your mod has inspired me greater to go into meteorology in college, rbray, Astronomer, Proot, and you! Thanks, and keep up the good work!
KyleofKerbin
I'm reinstalling rbray's base mod for you guys' texture addons. I hope it'll work this time. It's the 4th time I've downloaded it in the past HOUR.EDIT: NOPE! Nothing. Zilch. Zero. No Textures for clouds, city lights, volumetric clouds, NONE OF THAT.
