Yes, I would like to order : your new Mun Texture (as HiRes and detailed as you can get) with a yellowish tint like IRL, and without the big glow ! :)

New Mun texture makes the craters and landscape more visible which is good.

That's really really cool, I look forward to it, you seem to be working day and night on this ! :D

Also I hope you are sharing with rbray and Astronomer in PM your tricks and solutions to the cloud shading, shadows etc ! I don't care who gets credit, all that matters is the stunning visual improvements you guys are producing. Could be called the Rbray Team, or the EVE-RSA (RbraySonicAstronomer) Team !

Yeah, glow doesn't work for me. Sterility and crispness works for non-atmospheric bodies.

Love the Kerbin atmosphere and the choice of hue. Looks very nice.

I've updated the album with new pictures of the yellow tint in action. Doesn't feel bright enough to me, so i'll get on that. Unless you guys think it's fine, then I'll keep it that way.

Sorry for yet another album on the same page, I hope rbray doesn't mind..

ANYWAY, been messing around with some settings, got a new mun, and wanna know if people would rather have the old BA Mun, or the New BA Mun. I really want this pack to have what you guys want it to have.

I think I've gotten a good Mun. What do you guys think?

Perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect. That's it, that's the one.

Well, it's the same colour as the real life Moon.. I wouldn't mind the yellow being turned down a smidge though, but the glow and brightness is perfect for sure. For me, anyway.

But the problem is that the moon isn't yellow. Must be some kind of effect of the atmosphere that makes it yellow from the surface/low orbit, but the surface of the moon is pretty grey. I'm not sure how he makes it glow, I'm assuming cloud layers but they should somehow whiten up past a certain altitude.

I agree, The imgur photo sonic posted of the mun surface (fairly close) with the grey haze/softfocus looked incredibly accurate from what I've seen of the apollo landings. It had an almost ghostly glow to it, it's hard to describe but that first photo sonic posted looked pretty darn close to the real thing + some ksp artistic licence of course :)

Hard to say without seeing it in action. It looked okay, but its tough to say, "Yeah that looks great!" or "Yeah, don't think X looks very good." when we got only the basest view. I mean, what does your Mun look like on approach, on landing? If the effects you are using don't hold up during all stages of interaction, or if it only looks good at a distance, we wouldn't know. Personally it looked like you took a lot of detail out of the Mun which I couldn't tell if it was a bad texture or some lighting or what. I liked that the lighting wasn't as harsh, leading to craters that are lit but really seem like they shouldn't in stock, but you didn't show what it looked like on the surface either.

I'll be honest, the Mun is defiantly the hardest planet to fix up. Being all these different pictures show so many different ways the Moon looks, It's been hard. The Yellowish Mun I have right now looks....ehhh up close.

Today I'll focus all my free time into the Mun. Today is the day the Mun looks good.

I tried to find the image I was referring too but I think you've removed it, it was a semi-close up of the surface, the glow didn't extend above the horizon but it gave the surface that dusty/ghosty feel.

Actually this is getting a bit off topic, if you're taking responsibility for 'BA', you should probably open up a new thread, you may have done this already, although I thought proot was

I like it (saying something nice for a change  ). IRL the moon isn't REALLY yellow unless it's very near the horizon, so it's better for the color to be subtle. IMHO, if somebody looks at it and says "hey, that's yellow", then it's too yellow.

I dont see clouds :( any tips to fix it ?

I reinstall ksp and put the BoulderCo map in gamedata

Do i need to install more mods for it ?

Try the alt+N menu and hit the reset to default button.

Have clouds been disabled in mapview yet? I love this mod but can't use it because I like to see where I'm landing.

Not yet. I want to keep them in map view, but I'm thinking of a "Radar" type view that would let you see through atmospheres.

One thing I've always been confused by:

In the OP, you say we should delete BoulderCo before installing and might need to reinstall ATM. Fair enough, but to reinstall ATM, we should delete BoulderCo beforehand and so we may have to re-install EVE. Ok, but I'll need to delete BoulderCo before I do that and then reinstall ATM.

You see where I'm getting confused at? I have to ignore one of the instructions in order to install both.
