Avro Vulcan VX777

Recommended Posts

Here is the Kerbal space program version of the Vulcan Strategic Bomber.

It is a large aircraft and a very sweet flyer. Empty (no extra payload at all) it can lift off the runway at about 80m/s loaded... well it gets on up there.

I created a "Show" Version that is closer to the original than the "work" version. The "Work" version has a bunch of supports and increased engine and air intake for higher flying.

Bombs Away!!

I have created bombs from structural fuseloges, and have created cruise missiles as basic rockets. Seeing as you can't switch in atmo, cruisies are no good unless you go to space, drop them, switch them, then hit target, return to the vulcan, and repeat.

I am currently testing how much weight I can get onto the wings before I cannot get it off of the KSC runway.

The first few posts you make are moderated, yeah, and that includes your edits. I've approved them, so it should be okay. That imgur code still needs fixing though -- you can't use any HTML code (in case you don't know, that's the ones that use angled brackets -- < and > ) on the forums. Security hazard, if the forum software were to parse the code properly :)
