Something Weird I found (KSP Fan Site )

Doesn't seem to be a real site as it has no real way of buying the parts. Probably a site that someone made to back up the lore inside their Space program in KSP. Its quite well done and I dont think the devs will be angry at this, at most they will be impressed by the ability of whoever made the site.

Peace

To me it looks like a site for a Rocket Builders corporation (quick search gave no result for IAIA though). Quite cute, well done, enjoyed the read. Lots of several funny little tidbits like engine warranty is 2 years or until it leaves the ground, carrier pidgeon as 'contact us' choice, engines may contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 months as they present a choking hazard, etc.

Also shipping is for all Kerbin locations, offworld shipping not available.

Yep, quite cute, no threat whatsoever (edit: personal opinion).

that was actually pretty funny.

I wonder who's behind this - seems like one massively overbuilt joke, if it's really just for lolz.

my guess it that's maybe still a WIP... for what purpose exactly, i can't tell :rolleyes:

It's registered to one Euan Mutch, who does a bit of YouTube gaming but oddly doesn't have any videos about KSP. Seems the clan is geared towards "gaming content on youtube". Part of some sort of video series maybe?

Really, a Mainsail for £850000, a Skipper for £749000 etc.? Does anyone take this seriously?

Great joke though!

The prices may be as if you're buying the parts for 'real life' use. If you consider it that way then they're ridiculously underpriced.

I purchased a Poodle engine. Sadly, delivery will be within 1 decade :(

Unless you live on Kerbin I'm not sure they'll deliver it to you!

Their payment and shipping section cracks me up;

The IAIA ships to all locations across Kerbin. Shipping costs are kept to a minimum and are included in the price of all products.

Large items are shipped via the IAIA's specialised Circularised Re-entry Automated Parcel service (CRAP service). Please select a postal address clear of populated areas to minimise fatalities on delivery.

We regret that off-world shipping is not currently supported.

Someone must have out quite a bit of time into this, and I bet they where laughing to themselves all the way!
