Lies.

That's what I'd say at first glance. Lies are often at the core of an argument, and there is always a grain of truth in a lie. (An inside if you will.) Lies often start small, but are more believable than the truth in many cases, and grow incredibly fast. Hmm. They all fit but the last. I wonder...

Weapons are along the lines of what I'm looking for, but a more specific answer is there. The answer is very literal.

USA. Hehe, nope.

Maybe pesticide?

Pesticides aren't necessarily feared throughout the world are they? :P

Ripped from my mother's embrace,

My face is dull, rough and raw,

Shaped as I was born until this day,

This day when they rent me, for

Another to find in me what they seek.

Torn from her bleeding entrails,

I will never see what they saw,

Those foolish creatures who tore me,

Tore me from my mother's skin.

I am that which once was stardust,

Like so many others, my kin,

And yet so unlike these others.

These others who tore me from home,

Seeking that which I am not,

Beat me, broke me, bound me

Amongst the others of my peers,

Never to see our mother's cot,

For many long, weary years.

What am I?

(I made this in a bit of a hurry, there might be some mistakes.)
