Pounds are used to enumerate Construction nails are typically sold in bulk by the pound.

But pennies are used for my weight. Yet they are traditionally defined by their weight in pennies.

Strike me fair and I'll hold it together. Drive a nail with a hammer and it will fasten.

Miss me, strike me and you'll surrender. Miss and hit your fingernail, though...

I support entire industries, 'tis true, Nail care is a huge industry, as is construction.

Yet I am free to obtain not just for you. Everyone grows nails for free.

Well, by the only logic I can see in that riddle, the direction you should go is go. So it doesn't matter, you just have to go.

Alternatively, if going right is only half of the solution, you can go both ways at once. Just don't let yourself be observed.

But left hasn't left, it IS left. So even if right is the right way to go, left is the only way left, so if you want to go anywhere, you need to go left
